Pen tool object blurred in PS6

When I draw with the pen tool in PS6 and then activate the selection in the paths palette and fill it with a color, the edge of the shape is blurred as if it was feathered. How do I get a crisp line as I would if I was filling a marquee shape or a circle etc.?

Uncheck Antialiasing in the dialog.

Check the settings in your Paths palette's flyout menu > "Make Selection…". Make sure that it is set to zero.

[This item really does need to be in the Options bar where people can see it when using Paths tools.]
