I can't get the PS 7.01 update to install, says it can't find Photoshop 7. I've seen this is a common problem but can't find a solution. any help is appreciated...

Adobe has a list of common pirated serial numbers circulating on warez sites. If you have a bootleg copy of Photoshop 7 or you are using a serial number you got illegally from a warez site or pirate board, the 7.0.1 update will not install.

If you have a legal copy of Photoshop, all you have to do is call Adobe. They will solve your problem.
