Ok. I’m using photoshop cs2. I have a photo of a person, who is holding a water bottle directly in front of his shirt. I want to eliminate the water bottle from the photo. I tried using the pen tool, to extract the image, and then use the clone stamp tool to fill in the background, but the it’s not coming out good. It’s to hard to match up the wrinkles of the shirt. + it looks like the shirt is even with the hand, instead of the hand being out in front. Does anyone know how I can extract this water bottle from the photo? Any good tutorials?

Thanks,

Also try selecting part of the shirt with the lasso tool and using ctrl-J to make that a new layer and move/transform it over the water bottle area. You can then flatten that and your cloning will not have to be so extensive.
