Help page pops up for no reason. Attempts to close or minimize just open new windows. Photoshop won’t close.

usually occurs when running out of system resources. check to make sure your swap file size is at least 1.5x the amount of installed physical RAM.

so for 1 gig ram you’d want at least a 1.5 gig swap file. control panel> system> advanced> performance> settings button> advanced tab> virtual memory> change button.
