Hello,
One of my collegues at work here has a strange problem which I can't seem to solve. He uses Photoshop CS. When he goes to file -> open, and selects any PDF document, the whole system hangs and the only way to get it to work again is to use Task manager to kill the Photoshop task.
I've tried the usual re-installing, re-configuring of the PC.
Any help would be apreciated.

Jaap,
Can your colleague open the file in Acrobat? If not, the file may be damaged (not unknown).

Mike,
He wants to cut and paste using Photoshop, especially because then you can select in how much DPI the PDF file should be opened.
I've looked into it again, and it seems to have to do with the auto-example it is creating in the bottom part of the File / Open window.
Any suggestions?

Jaap,
When I try to open a PDF, it comes in rasterized. Try asking in the Adobeforum at
