Hi ,
I’m a beginner to Photoshop and I’ve just started using cs ver9. I’ve just shot a series of digital PICs with a canon eos10d, where the external flash malfunctioned resulting in some really overexposed shots. I’ve tried the obvious adjustments ot brightmess contrast etc, and tried a little with dodge and burn, but not much of an improvement. Is there any other procedure I coud try to rectify my problem. Any help appreciated.

DW,

If the highlight detail is blown out there is not a lot you can do. If there is some detail, see

Many thanks, I think there’s too little detail left, but the tutorial is useful.

Glad to help, was the flash problem incorrect settings/mode or is it faulty? Can you view the shot after taking it? Display histograms? MH
