Does anybody knows how to add round corners to a picture in photoshop?

You didn't say what version of PS you're using, but try hitting the letter "U" and on the flyout under that tool is the rounded rectanlge tool. Draw a box with the corner radius you want, right-click and pick make selection, select inverse, delete, or fill or whatever.

Yes,
There is a couple of ways, one is to use the Rounded Rectangle tool(you will lose some of the image) U on the keyboard, on the flyout menu. Drag the rectangle around your image and when you are happy with it, right click on it and select "make selection". Set the feathering to zero, unless you want a fade effect. Then, when you see the "marching ants" hit ctrl+shift+I to invert the selection, then hit delete or backspace to remove the inverted selection. If you do this on a different layer than the background layer(unless you have renamed it) you can then apply a layer style to it, say a drop shadow, to give the image a 3D effect.
