Copy/paste from Ill. to PS = 'program error'

In 10.3.4, with CS Suite, if I copy an element from Illustrator and then switch to Photoshop, with the intention of pasting the element; Photoshop immediately throws up this message "Could not import the clipboard because of a program error".

I used to do this all the time in OS 9 w/7 & 10.

Anyone?

If you change your Illustrator preferences Files & Clipboard to AICB format, Copy and Paste should work again after that.
