WHen I’m using Photoshop… say, typing in some text…. every keystroke I can hear the disc being accessed. I have a dual 2.0 G5 with lots of ram. What’s happening with this?

Thanks.

First, it has to record the keystroke to show the text.

Second, it isn’t recording it to disk.

But there is some activity as Photoshop allocates and moves around some memory, or the OS paging file is being grown as Photoshop allocates more memory. It’s hard to tell which one might be happening. But both are normal and shouldn’t slow you down.
