How do you link layers together in adobe photoshop cs2, in photosho
7.0, there was a chain symbol (next to the eye symbol) which showe
whether or not the layers were link and how do you know when they are

In cs2, you can ctrl + click multiple layers just like making any other selection in windows, then at the bottom of the layers window is a "link layers" button that will link all of the selected layers. CS2 then labels the linked layers with the familiar chainlink simple on the right side of the layer window.
