I think I figured it out. For a completely other reason, I had closed out all of the programs running in the task bar next to the clock. For some reason, I had clicked on a PSD file and it opened! I recreated the scenario, but restarting the computer to get all of these programs running again. Then I clicked the file again. Same error - had to close. Then I closed out all of these programs again, and Photoshop opened. Not sure yet if this is a resource error, or a conflict with one of these programs, but that will be easy to find out.

After installing Adobe PhotoShop CS2 (brand new, not an upgrade) and starting the program, I can never get the program to start. It just brings up a box that says the following:
Adove Photoshop CS2 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for this...blah, blah.
I hit the debug button, but the box just goes away. I have activated and this is a legitimate copy. Any ideas of what is going on here? I searched the program directory for a faq file and didn't find anything. Any ideas?
