Error 30001 using Twain import

I have just upgraded to Photoshop 8.0. When I use Image Ready and import Twain I get error 30001 that says "no device installed." My Epson Expressions 636 is installed just as always. Any ideas? Thanks.

That means that the driver thinks it isn’t installed.

Check the Epson software.
