I am having some strange issues with "shortcuts" being ignored. This is a fresh install of CS2 and that rules out any weirdness I have created. I have similar issues on two completely different systems.
Often times as I am editing, I wish to use the B key to change to the brush tool. In CS, there were very few times when this would not work. For example when the blend mode combo box had the focus the switch would not occur. But with CS2 my B key is FREQUENTLY ignored.
Another issue I’ve noticed is that SHIFT+click does not always disable a layer mask. With some files it does, with others it does not.
Yet another issue is that ALT+click on the background layer’s visibility would toggle the visibility of the layers on top [in CS]. In CS2 this often does not happen, the ALT+click is just ignored.
I have similar issues with the left/right bracket keys not changing the size of a brush.
I am going crazy over this and am starting to consider going back to CS.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Roger
