Brush coming up bit hard

Lately when selecting brush tool, coming up 100% hardness. I always remember it defaulting at 0%. What determines this? thanks

the last setting you used, are you sure your using the brush and not the pencil?

If all else fails "Reset Brushes" from the fly-out menu.

thanks Thee -- and that's a good point, I think brush, it is quite easy to screw that up.

A good brush is hard to find, a hard brush is good to find.
