Diffuse Glow as darkend my phots.

For some strange reason, The diffuse glow filter in Adobe Photoshop
7.0
is now giving my photos a dark burn rarther than giving them a diffused light glow when i slide the marker named Clear Amount. How do i reset it back to normal.

Have you checked your layer blend modes? Maybe one is on color burn or something similar.

BTW this is an elements NG, not a Photoshop 7 NG.
