Is it possible to edit a PSD file created on a Mac OS PC with a Windows XP PC, both running the same version of photoshop? For that matter, can a Windows XP PC edit any type of file format created in Photoshop from a Mac PC, ie .tif, .jpg etc. ?

Thanks
Gary

PSDs are platform agnostic.

TIFF & EPS and probably some other formats can have different kinds of platform-specific previews embedded that may not transfer/work outside of PS. In PS itself, though, I think the software is smart enough to convert what it needs to work (at least with the current and most recent revs; I’m sure if you go back far enough you can find something that won’t work.
