PS 7 opens file and CS2 does not

I was sent a PSD file (that has some text layers) and for some reason CS2 will not open it but PS7 does. The opposite would make sense but I don’t know why this would be happening. Any thoughts? Thanks.

See if you can open the image in Image Ready, re-save it as a PSD and then try to open it in CS2.

There was a bug in V7.0.

Open in 7.0.1 and re-save. Then it should open in CS/CS2
