Hey all..

Suddenly having trouble with printing from Photoshop CS.. [FYI, using PS CS on OSX Panther, Adobe RGB1998 Color space, Epson 2200 printer, double sided matte paper].. here’s the deal..

I’m retouching some photos, and they look great on my screen [calibrated with Monaco EZ Color] and then when I go to print, I hit print preview, and the image within the preview box does not match the colors of the actual image on my screen. It looks rather yellow and dull compared to my screen.. the printer actually prints like the "print preview" image more than the actual image on my screen.. it’s so strange..

What would make the preview image appear differently than the image on my screen? It’s driving me nuts trying to figure it out.. I’ve tried all sorts of color profiles and different printer settings but nothing seems to fix the problem..

Can anyone offer me some advice? I’ll make it worth your while!

Thanks..

Jn.

Ignore what you see in Print Preview (except for positioning) because Print Preview is not "color managed" — while Photoshop is.

If this is "worth your while", please send chocolates.

Print Preview only shows the source color space.

It should show the destination space that is selected.
