Photoshop 7 Levels missing

I'm using PS 7 on a Win XP computer and suddenly, the Levels dialogue box has gone missing! When I hit CTRL+L or go to Levels in the menu the program acts as though the Levels box is up, but it is nowhere to be found. Hitting TAB and Enter enough times seems to find the OK or Cancel button, getting me back into the program. I've tried hiding the palletes, moving the program window all around, reinstalling the program, and I just can't find the Levels box. All other commands are working fine. Anybody know what's going on?
Thanks,
Ronnie

Sounds like you've dragged the levels dialogue off the screen.

Unfortunately resetting the palette location doesn't restore the Levels dialogue. The best thing to do would be to delete the Photoshop Prefs file (Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Prefs.psp) located at ...
Settings\<username>\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\7.0\Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Settings You NEED to have 'Show Hidden Files and Folders' (Control Panel->Folder Options->View) checked in XP to see the Application Data folder.
OR
The next thing to do would be to delete ALL your preferences - Control-Alt-Shift when you first start Photoshop - to delete ALL Photoshop preferences (back to it was when you first installed - except for any plugins you may have installed after).
