7.1 to CS upgrade

When I run the upgrade CD it shows me where it will install the PS CS upgrade version which is /Programs/Adobe/Photoshop CS. My question is my PS 7.1 version is still in it’s own folder /Programs/Adobe/Photoshop 7.0. Does this mean I should un-install version 7.1 or do I leave that folder alone or install CS over it. Not sure at this point.

It’s a fresh installation. The only thing that it needs is your old serial number. After CS is up and running, and you’re comfortable with it, from a technical standpoint, you can uninstall/trash 7.1 and its preferences, if you wish. But be sure that any third party plug-ins you wish to use are compatible with CS (such as for your scanner or digital camera, etc.). Some "break" without an upgrade.

You mean I can’t have versions 3 thru 8 on my computer because its a Mac?
