Need some advice.
Can somebody help me with some tips or links to correct scanned photo’s in PS 7.0.1 to get photo’s for print or screen as smooth as digital photo’s. My scanned photo’s are gritty and my digital photo’s are smooth. What do I have to activate in the adjustments of PS 7.0.1? I use a ScanJet 3300C to scan the photo’s. What is the best scan resolution for colour photo’s to use 1:1 print?

Already thanks for your help.

Nico.

The settings for scanning are contained in the twain driver supplied with the scanner.
It sounds like you need to increase the resolution of the scan (DPI). Set it to the maximum optical resolution of your scanner to get the least gritty results. This might result in a hugh file.
