Hi,

I am not sure I am asking a good question, but, as a newbie to the world of graphics, I wish to know - When would I use Photoshop and when would I use Freehand?

Thank you,

Photoshop is a bitmap (raster) program, and should be used with bitmap applications primarily. Freehand is a vector program, and should be used for vector composition. If you're not sure of the difference, run a search for "vector and raster" online.
