I have difficulties understanding the application of the EYEDROPPER TOOL "add color""subtract color" in the HUE/SATURATION (Enhance/Adjust color). It does not seem to work. Is there a more detailed explanation of this subject? Thanks

Hi Dominic,

The eyedropper tool allows you to select a range to adjust. For example, from the dropdown select Reds. You see in the color bars that there are some sliders that cover the red areas. If you click in the image those bars will move to a range that covers the color you clicked on. The + dropper lets you add to the range, the – dropper removes from the range. Once you have your range selected you can use the sliders to adjust Hue, Saturation and Lightness and it will affect only the parts of your image where the colors fall into the defined range.

Hope that helps,
Rich

Hi Rich,

I too always wondered how to use it … but never did get round to asking. So thanks for the information …
