I sometimes get a blue screen (software?) system failure while working in Photoshop CS1. This doesn’t happen all the time and sometimes while scanning.

My system is as follows:

Photoshop CS1; Windows XP Pro. Version 2002, Service Pack 2; Dual AMD Opteron 252 Processors, 2.61 GHz, 4GB RAM; Dual 300GB Hard Drives; NVIDIA nForce 4 ADMA Controller; ATI FireGL V3100 Display Adapter

Thanks,

Rick

A BSOD in XP almost always points to an errant driver. Prime suspect in your case: scanner driver. CS may have aided and abetted, but I doubt it’s the villain 🙂
