getting this pop up "Could not use move tool because target channel is hidden

I get the above message whenever I try to do anything to certain layers. I have a few group layers ( ( perhaps that is how I should describe them) These layers have circular masks with photos underneath. ))
Everytime I try to touch certain layers photoshop will not let me.

Do you have an alpha channel that is selected but visibility is turned off?
