Hello –

I given a PSD file made from my MAC to one of my colleague, and when he opened the file on his MAC, well the colors looks "flashy/fluo"…
The document is a HiRes CMYK .JPG at 300dpi.

Does anyone encounter the same problem?

NB. PSD doesn’t ask for convert the profile or display an error message…

Thanks for any suggestion(s)…

– Dimitri

It’s the monitor profile, in one or both machines.

Incidentally, it’s a Mac, not a "MAC". In computer terminology MAC = Modular Access Control. Mac = Macintosh.

I would stay away from CMYK .jpegs too. give him a .PSD or tiff with LZW if you need to save space.

Thanks Ramon…

Buko, personally, I never use this format for myself, but my colleague have a client who wish this format (for some reasons), so…
