Can’t Save JPEG or Photoshop Files (Photos)

I have been using an IBM 340 micodrive for years with no problem re saving and Save As in Photoshops 6 and CS. Today, I’m informed that I can’t Save As a Photoshop file nor can I save the edited JPEGs I’ve edited at all. The reason is stated in an alert box which states, "Could not save because of disk error." What should I do?

Run a disk repair utility.

For how many years have you been using that disk?

It could be about to die on you.

I assume that the disk repair utility should be applied to the Microdrive which i have never done before. I have used Disk Warrior on my hard drive but not the Microdrive. Anything different to note before running D.W. on Microdrive. I have been using the Microdrive for about 6 years. I have backed up all of the important files, but obviously in this case, I can’t save or save as any of them (yet).
