I have a single-layer, 2-color .psd

I want one color deleted (made transparent so the background grid shows),

and I want the other color switched to the OTHER (the one that was then made transparent) of the 2 colors.

How do I do this? Thanks!

One way I would do it depending on the simplicity of the image>first, use the eyedropper tool and grab a sample of that color you want to ‘keep’ from your image. Then use a selection tool like the magic wand or magic eraser and select the background that you don’t want then click ‘delete’on keyboard then ‘select inverse’ and fill with the color you sampled earlier which will be on your tool palette as your foreground color ( alt+backspace ).

oops, magic eraser is not a selection tool but it will still do the trick….then you would have to select what’s left ( ctrl click the layer to get the selection around it) and fill with sampled color.
