How can I transfer scanned slides from Adobe Elements to Powerpoint? I always get a message saying that the file is too big I scan at 1800 DPI 8 bit. I would appreciate suggestions as to how to reduce the file size after scanning with Power Slide 3600 so the will be acceptable to Powerpoint and then how to transfer the images the simplest way into Powerpoint.

1024 is max size ever needed for projection purposes (although a higher rez image is better if you are after high quality prints from PowerPoint, or 35mm slide output).
