Can I delete the Adobe Gamma Loader from my Startup list?

It runs the following file :
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Calibration\Adobe Gamma Loader.exe

Does anyone know why it's there and if I can delete it from the Startup list? Is it an Adobe registration query?

The Adobe Gamma Loader is what loads the color profile you generate when you run the Adobe Gamma monitor calibration utility.
