Updates can not be downloaded in elements...

When i click update the status bar pops up, but then another window pops up saying the file cannot be downloaded from "url" and that i should check my internet options in my control panel. I have checked my internet options and cannot find anything that would make a conflict.

Comp. specs:

windows xp pro
512mb of ram
Msn broadband
custom computer
Elements 2.0

Kyle, there aren't any updates out there to be retrieved. It's unfortunate that you get that message, but that's apparently how it's written... If you have that feature in Elements turned on, you should just turn it off. If any updates arise, you'll certainly learn about it on the forum!

What Chuck said, turn it off. All it does is upload a script to check what you've got and go away again.
