Photoshop CS "Info Palette" not displaying readings

Photoshop CS Info Palette is not displaying values in any of the fields...on about 1/3 of our G4 d/1.25 MD 10.3.3 Macs.... Are we missing something???Like a toggle to turn it on & off????Clean re- install didn't solve the problem,,,same with copying all PSCS prefs from a Mac that has Info Palette functionality........????

Could you be missing some fonts?

I seem to remember that someone else tracked this down to the fact that they had removed the Apple LiGothic and AppleGothic .dfonts from their System/Library/Fonts folder.
