Hello Daniel
Have you already tried to reinstall Photoshop???
sounds like it’s looking for something. are you on a network? is your default printer on a network and maybe offline?
or do you have a lot of stuff in the plugin folder that’s not plugins? (like swatches and patterns and stuff?)
do have some extraneous stuff in the plugin folder – where should i move them? i am on a small home wireless network. any help appreciated.
anywhere out of that path. create a folder called c:\dansPSStuff or something.
thanks, i’ll try that. so all i’ll have in the plugin folder is the actual plugin icons? if needed will the program find the contents of the other folders, ie., patterns, textures, etc if i move them to a seperate folder within photoshop? thanks again.
Daniel
If you put a ~ symbol on the folder name (first letter), photoshop does not load.
Example: Folder Name: Plugin
Putting: ~plugin
Photoshop does not load that folder. You dont need to move off these preferences files. Just insert ~.
