Gang,
Ever since I made the switch from Mac OS 9 to Mac OS 10 my design files print dark when they are outsourced. I proof print them usually on a Epson 1280 and they always look ‘normal’, meaning close to what I thought they should based on my color selections and the design.
However, when I outsource them for poster printing they always look darker than they should. Yes, some print shops do print using .tif’s on Win-PC’s.
What is going on ? I really need to understand more about color issues on the printer-shop side.
Please, anyone – educate me – James
