One of the things I use constantly in retouching is pressing the shiftkey when following a contour with a brush, eraser or clone tool, using the tool in a straight line between clicking points.
I just upgraded to PS CS and that option seems to be not available anymore, although it is still mentioned in the on-line help.
My whole routine is gone.
Does this sound familiar to someone.
Using a Tibook Mac with OSX 10.3.3.

As mentioned in several other topics – enable spacing for the current brush, or load brush presets that have spacing enabled.

Nothing has changed at all, it has always worked this way.

I jumped from PS 6 to PS CS
"It has always worked this way" since PS 7.
But . . . . Thanks anyway Chris,

VELVIS – and it means that you loaded a non-default set of brushes after loading CS (with spacing turned off).

No, it has always worked this way since at least Photoshop 3, and probably before.
