CS2 almost always requires a text layout change. Why?

I’ve been getting this ever since I upgraded from CS (which did not have this issue) to CS2. But almost every time I open a PSD file almost all of my text layers have the triangle exclamation mark next to them and say, "Font is present on system, but requires a layout change". Then I update all the text layers, save the document, close it, wait five minutes, open it back up again, and they require a layout change again.

Any idea why?
