I just upgraded to CS2 and I’m getting thin red lines printed on all the photos I print out.

I have WinXP Pro, SP2, 2.0GB Ram, P4 3.2, an USB Epson Stylus Photo 875 Printer.

The printer in question printed perfectly fine with PhotoShop 7.0 but now it prints these little thin red lines all over the print. I’ve printed the same prints with Windows "Paint" and the prints come out perfect.

I’ve aligned, changed cartridges, cleaned print heads I even reinstalled the Driver for the printer, have the latest one for WinXP, but when I print with Photoshop CS2 I get these lines.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.-

Try printing with PS 7 again – I bet you’ll get the same lines.

Thanks for you input Chris. I did use the printer with PS7 on the computer that was upgraded with the PS CS2 and certainly the lines where there.

However, if I use Windows Paint on that same computer there are no red lines. Also I used the printer on another different computer that DOES NOT have PS CS2 installed and there is no red lines either.

It seems to be something that was upset when PS CS2 was installed that is causing these RED LINES.

Any sugestions?
