Is it possible to arrange a number of different photos on the same 8×10 page (Print Preview) and print them all at once using PSE? I am using PSE 1 and a Mac OS9.

Teresa,

You could use the Picture Package feature in the program, this allows for several photos to be printed on one page, but…

I think one has a lot more flexibility if you just create your own, it’s easy. NOTE: I use windows, so substitute the Mac command for ‘ctrl’ key…command maybe?

* make sure the Layers Palette is open on your workarea
* all your images must have the same resolution to be printed together on a page and the canvas on which you’ll paste them must also have the same res.
* check the res. for each one at Image>Resize>Image Size for each image. To change the res., WITHOUT resample checked, type in a # (between 200-300 ppi most people recommend)
* leave images open on workarea (use Ctrl/minus sign on each to shrink them up some) * File>New
* create a canvas 8.5 x 11.5, with the same res. as the images * drag title bar of new canvas down enough so you can see the images * click on first image, in Layers Palette, drag the layer on top of blank canvas and drop (repeat for all images)
* each image is on its own layer in palette, though they might look overlapping on workarea * reposition images as needed to fit canvas; select a layer in palette (of canvas) get Move tool from toolbox, position cursor inside image on canvas and drag to position, repeat for each layer. Can rotate images if desired for better fit. (use ctrl/click in layers palette if hard to find correct image, this will outline it)
* close individual images
* you’re ready to print your multi-image sheet
* can save if desired
