Compositing can be easily done in PS but only for still images. Compositing as in sample video can be done Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects can do it for video as can a bunch of plugins as well as other video editing applications.

Compositing can be easily done in PS but only for still images.

You can composite video in PhotoShop. I did this clip without AE or Premier.
