Create a Grphic Curve

I am stuck and need some help as a beginner please...

The best way to explain this is to show you a site that has what I need, <http://www.ossgroupltd.com/> I would like to create the curve graphic at the top can anyone help please...

There was a tutorial referencing this a while ago. For a newb, I can't tell you step by step, but here's the overview - and keep in mind that there are at least three ways to do anything in photoshop.

Create a rectangular banner and fill it with your color of choice. Use the Pen tool, set to Paths (options bar) to draw a rectangle outside of the image itself. Then add anchor points with the pen tool to create the waves. Load that path as a selection, invert, and clear (delete).

Thank you for your guidence I will try that out, and yes I am slowly understanding that there is more than one way to acheive something in photo shop.
