When i go to use edit the brightness/contrast in ps7, nothing appears. It is like it is invisible, because I can not do anything else. So i press enter, as if pressing ok after i "would be editing" and then i can use the rest of ps7. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, did a system restore on pc-basically EVERYTHING. Ths began when i was using two monitors for more work space, but one of the monitors decided to die on me (a good monitor too might i add)- so I am back to one monitor, and i feel like ps7 is acting like its still two monitors and the B/C toolbar is still on the other screen that doesn’t exist anymore. I hope i made sense! please email me at

That’s exactly what’s happening. See the faq’s for Dialog box missing.

if you can’t get at it by upping your desktop res, you’ll either have to hook a 2nd monitor back up temporarally or reset the prefrences (also in the FAQ).
