My "Normal" text font is Italic

I am using Adobe Photoshop 7 with Win XP Office Edition. My problem is that when I want to add text to a image the ‘normal’ font is showing up Italic. I have had this problem before and I had to re-install the software. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
