Print large image on multiple sheets

How can I print an image onto 4 sheets so the assembled sheets make a 14x20 image using a letterl-size printer?

Quarter the image and print each section.

Same thing one does for panoramas, except the divisiona are [usually] along the width of the pan.

some printer drivers have this option inthe page layout TAB that will automate the process

if not
open your image in ps
change image size to the desired final size

make guides
then use the marquee tool to select one quadrant and print that one only then select the second and print etc

OR
select crop tool
click left top corner
crop and print
then history undo crop
select bottom left quadrant 8.5 x 11
this may give more overlap for proper alignment and trimming

Use Qimage, a specialist printing program which will make large prints on multiple sheets of paper. I did a mural on 16 sheets of A4, perfect match between sheets.

Qimage does much more than that. You need to read the writeup.

Most printer drivers will do this for you without buying additional software. Look carefully at the print selection windows and make the correct selections to get what you want.

This works on my Canon printer on CS3 (it should work with Photoshop elements becuase it is really a printer function)
go to the print menu
go to print set up
find the psoter menu
set it up for the size picture you need [print

Qimage doesn't run on a Mac, so that won't work for me. I don't think my printer driver will do that... will investigate further. Thx,
