Can CS2 Open Packbits Compressed TIFF from Panorama Tools?

There is a confirmed bug in PS CS (Windows platform only) that causes Photoshop to be unable to open Packbits compressed TIFF files created by Panorama Tools. Has this bug been fixed in CS2?

Yes, it is fixed (well, worked around the compiler bug).
