Cannot open due to program error??

Help!!!When I try to open jpeg images in photoshop 7 the message "could not complete your request beacause of a program error."comes up. (these images where pulling up fine before a reboot)I have tried to use previous version of photoshop with the same result. I have also tried reinstalling Photoshop....same result. I now have 3 hrs to retouch 622 images, please help me keep my job :)

Well, I have now, but still same thing. I have tried everything under the sun since yesterday....even reinstalling os. Me and computer are now at a mexican stand-off...
