Yes, Version 7 worked fine with print preview up until a few weeks ago. The printer works fine with other applications too.

Photoshop 7 has started to completely freeze up when I click on print preview. The program has to be shutdown by task manager when this happens. It now does it every time I go to print preview. I have deleted the program and reinstalled it, and it still happens. Anyone have any ideas what is causing this? Thanks.
Have you looked up adobe knowledge base?
Maybe its the memory problem, have you allocated the memory in PShop preferences?
does 7 version have "Print with preview" ???
or is it the printer driver previewer that crashes it??
make sure the printer driver is working
start>printer and faxes>print test page
I just upgraded PS7 and it was printing fine from print with preview.
1) Check for disk space, I had problems when I was trying to use an
almost full disk as the scratch disk.
2) If this is a desktop install a small hard drive and use it as your scratch disk
3) Defrag your hard drive especially if the program has been freezing, a freeze during printing leaves the reminder of your print spooler, the part of the image that was spooled.
4) Check to see if the standard print command work from PS and other programs, with a large file from PS.
5) Check the connection to your printer
6) Check to see if the printer is on
Hope this helps
