I posted previously but it got swamped way below. A few of you were asking questions in order to help. So now here is the most current info for this. It is a 10mb .psd file that is in 8 bit RGB color mode. No layers are locked. I can not do anything with the filters and a few other things. They are greyed out. I just want to do some more editing to this, but this is in my way and not sure why. Anyone have any suggestions or anything? Would be much appreciated. Thanks much.

Try this and see if you can use the filters.

How do I use that? Also, if it were the preferences, then wouldn't this problem be the case with all image files? It is only on this one image that this is occurring. Any other suggestions?

I should also add that there are a couple of transparency (opacity) on some of the layers and whatnot. If that helps in determining anything.

To quote please make it short. Type an i plus a space and then past a few words or perhaps a sentence.
Yes it would be on all files.
Perhaps the file is corrupted. open it in an other program and save it back as a tiff. See if this helps.
