I have 3 pics that I want to blend together to make one picture. The pictures would be in a row (horizontal) and obvious that it is three pics. But rather than 3 pics side by side I want to blur the edges of all three so that it looks better and kind of blends into the next.
What is a simple way to achieve this as I am still quite basic with photoshop.
thanks
Hi...another idea is to approach it like a collage.
Open photo 1 to use as base or center.
Increase canvase left and right to decrease overlap.
Open 2nd photo to collage and using MOVE TOOL drag onto
photo 1 - it will appear as layer. Move it on the canvas where it you want on the left.
Click on layer mask icon in bottom of layer palette
Get gradient too from toolbox and hit enter for GRADIENT PICKER and pick the B/W one (probably 3rd one).
Click the gradient tool in the center of photo 2 and drag to the left - the point that you clicked will be transparent and where you stopped will be 100%. It will blend in betwean.
Open photo 3 and do the same move and layer mask. Gradient tool click and drag to right..same deal.
To touch up get the brush tool with a big soft brush and set to black and paint on the foreground of 2 and 3 respectively to blend it with the background (1).
You don't have to be as linear as this example.
Enjoy
