Hi

I’ve created an action where an image (jpg) is to be saved for web at a set optomization of 75kb. When I run the batch, the pictures are higher than the actual given value.

Any ideas on what’s going on here?

The given value in the action (75k in this case) is what the save for web feature will try to approximate when it saves a picture for the web. Individual pictures thus batch processed will be approximately 75k in size. They could be a lot smaller (like 34k) or a little higher (like 78k). But they should not be much higher (like 175k).

The thing is, if I do them manually they will be around 75k, but automatically the program doesn’t respect the command.

I’m sorry, though I understand your statement, I don’t know the answer to your problem. Perhaps someone else in the group will post a solution. "Cheg" wrote in message
