I have an image 8 inches by 47.54 inches at 221.625 pixels per inch, however I cant seem to actually print this size as Photoshop limits my size to 41.667 inches (30,000 pixels?)

how do I get around this to get a print on my Epson 2100 printing on roll paper 8.3" by 32.8′ (210mm by 10m)

Some printer drivers allow you to scale the image up or down to fit the paper. Maybe you can reduce the image size to what Photoshop asks for and then when you go to print it, tell your printer driver to enlarge the image to the size you want.

This is the only way that I can think of to ‘trick’ the program into giving you more print space but I don’t know if it will actually work. Good luck, though. 🙂

Photoshop Help at "About Image size and resolution", last line, says:

Photoshop supports a maximum file size of 2 GB and maximum pixel dimensions of 30,000 by 30,000 pixels per image. This restriction places limits on the print size and resolution available to an image.

I believe the PaintShop Pro 8 demo allows about 36000 pixels.
